Julie has done absolutely beautiful designs for us including designing custom furniture, a custom kitchen, converting a laundry to a butler’s pantry, transforming a small powder room into a glam space with unique lighting and cabinetry, custom dining room, home office, living rooms, family rooms, bedrooms, patio seating areas, custom entryways, and paint palettes (exterior and interior) in on our home in New York. She is truly amazing!
Julie has continued to work with us after we moved from New York to Charleston, South Carolina on restoration of historical homes. She has worked both remotely and in person to help us refurbish several 100 year old homes in downtown Charleston to bring them back to better than ‘original’ condition by designing custom moldings and wainscoting, doing floorplans and layouts to make them look original but improve functionality for today’s lifestyles. Julie even did floorplan/layout to help us figure out which furniture to move South and it made our move from New York so much easier.
In Charleston, Julie has come up with creative solutions, and again, provided amazing problem solving support when we have run into structural issues as old houses always do uncover interesting challenges! Her beautiful kitchen designs in Charleston included custom ‘tin’ ceilings for a historical charm, glam lighting fixtures, floor to ceiling cabinetry and reconfiguring small spaces to feel open, beautiful, and functional as well as refurbishing 100 year old fireplaces to restore its charm with just the right ‘vintage’ style tile.
I can’t say enough about how amazing and talented of an interior designer Julie is! She is a gem in so many ways!
